Enghouse Transportation - Nottingham and Derby - Launch Ride App - PR

Nottingham, UK – December 15, 2025 – Trafi, an Enghouse company, a provider of digital mobility platforms across Europe and the UK, announced the launch of Ride, a new urban mobility app developed in collaboration with local authorities across Nottingham and Derby.

Funded through the Department for Transport’s Future Transport Zone programme, Ride is now available to more than 1.4 million residents across the Nottingham and Derby. The app enables people to move more freely between both cities by bringing together all transport options into a single one-stop-shop digital platform.

Making Everyday Travel Easier

Ride is designed to simplify how people plan, book and pay for trips. Whether commuting or exploring, users can access multiple transport modes – buses, trams, trains, e-scooters, bikes and car sharing – without additional hustle.

The app integrates mobility service providers such as Dott, Lime, Enterprise Car Club, Arriva, CT4N, Kinchbus, Notts and Derby Buses, TramLink/ NET, and trentbarton, Skills, Central Connect, Stagecoach

Key features of the Ride app include:

  • Multi-modal journey planning with mixed-modes best route suggestions
  • Real-time schedule updates for busses
  • Ticketing and payments
  • Robin Hood Cards integration
  • Driver ID verification for shared mobility services
  • Level 3 integrations with mobility service providers
